Open four days. Locked the rest.
The door sticks. Push it. If the red sign is turned round, we are in. There is no tasting flight and no table. You can try a sip of whatever is open on the counter, then you buy a bottle or you leave happy anyway.
- Hours
- Thursday to Sunday, 12:00–20:00. Bank holidays follow the same rule. If the harbour wind takes the door off, we close and say so.
- Find us
- 14 Ropemakers Yard, Margate. Off the high street, past the old dairy arch. If you hit the beach, turn around.
- Carry
- One or two people, walk in. More than six, write first. We are one room and the rye is not stacked to the ceiling.
- Access
- Step-free from the yard. The card machine works. Cash works. We do not keep a cloakroom.
